Front of House Manager
Corinne Kuester has been working in the restaurant industry for 20 years of her life but she found her passion for “all things restaurant” a little over ten years ago at McCormick and Schmicks. She loves the adrenaline rush of a busy evening of service and she takes personal satisfaction in making someone else’s dining experience not just a meal, but a delightful and relaxing event. Corinne is always evolving and staying current in everything from food to fashion. She is an exceptional hostess in both her home and her job. She was thrilled to be chosen as “Hostess of the Month” in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in 2017. Corinne believes the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
Chef Michael Magee was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was constantly drawn to the tastes & smells of the familiar Creole style cooking that surrounded him growing up. He started in the kitchen at a young age, following his grandmother around the kitchen ‘always at the hem of her apron’. When Hurricane Katrina hit in 2005, he saw the need for cooks in the city and decided that cooking would be the way he would give back & represent his city.
In 2008, Chef Michael graduated from the Culinary Institute of New Orleans. From there, he landed spots at Muriel’s Jackson Square, La Foret, and most notably – Restaurant August. While working with top notch chefs like Master Chef James Corwell, Chef Guy Sockrider, Chef John Besh, and Chef Michael Gulotta, he perfected his techniques & culinary style while getting the experience to make it in the restaurant world. Additionally, he made sure to have a well-rounded education by participating in stages across the country; Primo (in Maine), L20 (in Chicago) & Quince (in California) just to name a few.
It was in 2012 that Chef Michael decided to settle down in Madison, Wisconsin and took the Executive Chef job at The Wise Restaurant & Bar. In 2018, Chef Michael relocated to Milwaukee and joined the team at View MKE. He took his inspiration from his New Orleans upbringing and the German culture in Wisconsin to create seasonally-inspired dishes for the restaurant. With New Orleans continuing to be an ever evolving melting pot of cuisines & cultures, Chef Michael feels it’s his job to carry the torch and embrace the cuisines of the region. “I feel like I’m in Louisiana at times here in Wisconsin, after all, this state was a part of the Louisiana purchase.”

Lucas has also contributed his spare time as a vendor and demonstrator at the Shorewood and Fond du Lac Avenue farmer’s markets, as well as teaching children’s courses in the Riverwest community.
Andy is lucky, he is doing exactly what he has wanted to do since he was 10 years old. Andy started his career as an apprentice under Madame Kuony, at her Postilion restaurant in Milwaukee and Fond du Lac. At first she would only let him wash dishes and clean the floors. It was two years before she would let him cook and he’s been cooking ever since! Andy’s view on dinning: there is nothing better than sharing a great meal with family and friends, sharing stories, laughs, and making new memories. His passion is assembling a great talented group of servant minded individuals, creating a culture of a team that works is support and cares for each other, delivering an experience to our guests through attentive, knowledgeable service, great exciting food and drinks that for a brief time the world disappears and only now excises.
